As the oldest camp in the Archdiocese of America, MDSC has thousands of alumni. Whether you attended our camp for one summer, or 20 summers, whether it was in the 1950’s or last summer, you are considered an MDSC alumnus.  MDSC would like to increase our contact with our alumni. In the future, we would like to organize reunions, send MDSC updates to alumni through our email blats, publish memories or old pictures from alumni on the website, and encourage the children of alumni to attend MDSC.

Update Your Information

If you were up at our camp, whether it was called the St. Nicholas Church Camp, Diocese VII Summer Camp, Detroit Diocese Summer Camp (DDSC) or MDSC, you are an alumnus. Please email us at and provide us with your current contact information.  We ask that include your name (maiden name if applicable), address, phone number and e-mail.

Send Us Your Photos

Furthermore, if you have a story or a memory about your camp experience that you would like to share with the rest of our website visitors, please send it to us. We would also appreciate any pictures from the past (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc). We advise that older pictures be scanned and sent as digital attachments to an e-mail. Please do not send older pictures by mail – we would not want them to be misplaced or lost.

You can e-mail us memories, stories or digital pictures at or mail memories/stories to us at:
