Staff Opportunities

The Metropolis of Detroit Summer Camp relies on over 100 young adults and adults each summer who serve on the staff in various positions. The various staff positions, staff recruitment information, communications and the staff recruitment e-mail can be found in the sections found below. Most administrative positions are paid. The Counselor position is the most important role, with up to 12 counselors (6 male and 6 females) needed for each week.

There are different applications based on staff ages 16-20 and ages 21 & older, so make sure you complete the correct application. Please note that MDSC requires that all staff complete the new electronic staff application form. You will need to download the form, and fill it out on your computer, and then print it, sign where required and attach any additional information before you mail it. The electronic form cannot be saved once you have entered information into it, so please fill it out completely before printing it off.
